ENGIE applies the full power of its research and innovation capabilities to offer solutions supported by digital technologies, which deliver consistently improved efficiency and environmental performance

ENGIE has been present in India for more than two decades through its subsidiaries Tractebel Engineering and Lahmeyer , providing engineering consulting services. ENGIE is one of the founding shareholders of Petronet LNG and holds 10% in Petronet LNG. ENGIE now is focused on renewables and low-carbon alternatives and allied service businesses. Through our acquisition of Solairedirect, we now have 200MW of operating solar PV plant with a further 250MW under construction. As well as growing this solar business, we expect to build a material presence in roof-top solar and wind.

ENGIE is also active in India through Rassembleurs d'Energies (RdE), the Group's Investment Fund for sustainable energy for disadvantaged populations. With USD 50 Mn in capital globally, the fund invests in projects with high social and environmental benefits that are economically viable and supported by innovative entrepreneurs. We already have four small projects, three in solar home systems and one in micro-grids.

ENGIE employs 155,000 people in 70 countries across the world.
