ReGen Powertech is committed to providing an alternate source of energy that is clean, green and sustainable.

ReGen an ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OSHAS 18001 certified company offers total “Turnkey Solutions” for wind power projects that includes consultancy, manufacturing, supply, erection, commissioning, and operations and maintenance services of Wind Energy Converters (WEC).

ReGen has a strategic technical licensing agreement with Vensys Energy AG, Germany, a globally leading name in WEC design and development. Backed by the expertise of a global leader, ReGen manufactures technologically advanced WECs at its fully integrated, state-of-the-art production facility near Tada in Andhra Pradesh, and Udaipur in Rajasthan, India. The plant houses a sophisticated manufacturing line for 1000 MW and a world-class R&D Center.

ReGen’s unique technology offers maximum energy production through higher efficiency and greater reliability. ReGen manufacturers 1.5 MW Class III Wind Turbine with variable speed and permanent magnet generators. Due to its technology advantage, efficiency of these Wind Turbines is 6 to 8% higher when compared to geared Wind Turbines. ReGen also has technology license agreement with Vensys Energy AG, Germany for 2 MW, 2.5 MW and 3 MW synchronous permanent magnet gearless turbines and will soon be launching V115, a 2 MW turbine with 115 meter Rotor diameter.

ReGen has maintained its position as the third largest player in FY 2014-15 too with a capacity addition of 411 MW. The cumulative installed capacity as on Dec. 2015 exceeds 1,800 MW, set up for clients such as Tata Power, Green Infra, Renew Power, Hero Group, Orange Renewables, Hetero, and Jindal group. ReGen has also set up 45 MW of wind farm in Sri Lanka for its clients which is also operational.

ReGen has also launched a unique Wind-Solar Hybrid system, first of its kind in the world, solar panels (200 KW to 1000 KW) can be added in the foot print of the WEC and run as a hybrid system using the existing land and evacuation infrastructure including the converter of the WTG, making the solar installation cheaper by 15-20% compared to stand alone solar plants.
